450 seac engine spec
Discussion
Basically. Cosworth pistons And rods (forged), tufrided crank, i think with standard bearings, Heads were fully ported infact over-ported for road use, TVR big valves as griff 500 etc, H234 kent cam with hydraulic lifters and standard rocker gear, all obviously lightened and balanced.
They used standard trumpets on a partially ported manifold, throttle was normally 70mm
It would be very expensive to replicate one against uprating a 4.6 factory unit.
There is an ad for brand new SEAC cranks on this site ( TVR parts)

SEAC Special edition of Sprint (Aug 94) reported that there were a lot of options on a SEAC.
Including....
Hydraulic lifters
Cam profile
Adjustable shocks
Kevlar
Rose jointing
Apparently only two SEACs were fully rose jointed, most were partially rose jointed and some weren't at all.
Only approx the first dozen were built with Kevlar; only three of these were left in 1994. One Kevlar SEAC was rebodied in GRP!
So much for the myth.....

Only a few had solid lifters,
The cams mainly 234 and some had a TVR grind
They all had adjustable shocks, a few had coil over, with adjustable ride height.
First 10 were full Kevlar, they probably all still excist, its just that some were involved in accidents and may have had GRP repairs ?, which according to some anoraks discludes them from the "Kevlar" SEAC club. ??
They all had the main large rose joint bar the first couple,
I recon 4 or 5 were fully rose jointed (ive seen 3.
