Now I have your attention does anyone know to a replacement for the fuel tank straps on a 400?

Although originaly galvanised, the outer two straps have taken the brunt of the weather and even after rubbing down and painting the dreaded rust is starting to rear its ugly head again!

Does anyone make a replacement strap in stainless or are the original straps still available (long shot I know!)

Cheers.

It's not that difficult to make your own especially if you have the old ones as a templet. I made some from stainless to match the new tanks.
There are places like 'Metal Supermarkets' that will cut the strips to size. It's then just a question of bending, drilling and sticking on some rubber.

Thanks, I was going to think about making some up myself, but if they were available off the shelf it would of saved some messing about.
I will go and have a with my local stainless dealer.

cheers
