Hi I have lost the keys to my TVR 350i 1986 and need to source replacements. I’m in South London. Can anyone suggest where I can get these? Perhaps I will need to get a replacement ignition barrel and key? Kind regards. Cliff

Hi cliff. I have moved your post into the TVR wedge forum as I think you are more likely to get a response here than in the marketplace forum.

Your car probably has the Rover SD1 column and switchgear and it will have Ford Cortina door locks, so the key blanks themselves are nothing special, however you are slightly stuffed without some point of reference.
Worst case, the ignition switch can be found on Ebay (or Rimmer Brothers may even have old stock) but not sure how often matched Cortina locks come up...
A competent locksmith could disassemble them and cut a key to suit - or you could do it yourself and take all the internals out but then any old key will get it going!

If you need help on how to remove the handles/how to remove the rod clips and then new internals wafers and matching keys across the doors... the same handle is used on 76-92 M-wedge-S series. I can help, I have built 30-40 sets and have lots of spares for these handles. A@

Cliff, can you remember was the ignition key round with knobbles on, or flat (like the door key)?
Or look at the column keyhole, is it a flat rectangle or round hole?

I think the round knobbly key was the ex-Granada Mk3 type, didn't they only come along with the 400SE in '88/9?

Yes. But worth asking in case the lock had been changed.
