Wedge Service Manual
Discussion
My thoughts are you need to post pictures of your car (or at least the things you are talking about) the USA cars relate to a different UK time period. (TVR factory staff going to the USA updating cars to a legal spec. whilst they sat around prior to selling, even some cars that sell immediately that never then get to be changed to legal stateside spec, because they are sold on prior to being stopped from being sold). I see you are asking the same questions on the USA forums...you might do better that way (they know what they know because it is what they see, and the evolving car never gets there). A@

The Steve Heath Wedge Bible covers all major work and includes wiring diagrams. They pop up on ebay but I believe they are still available new.
I have this book and whilst it has a lot of information in it, it doesn't cover very much at all in terms of servicing and maintenance. It certainly doesn't cover any major mechanical work, and there are a number of errors in it too. (Spark plug ref for the 350i is actually an oil filter!). It seems to focus more on generic stuff like fitting a rollbar, upgrades, and general information about how fuel injection works etc. It does have wiring diagrams, but they don't match my 350i. It is a good read though. I use the Rover SD1 and Jaguar XJS Haynes manuals for engine, gearbox, diff and rear brakes. The TVR parts catalogue which I got electronically from somewhere is also useful for part numbers and general layout. Everything else is pretty basic and can be worked out if you are a half reasonable mechanic!!
Not specifically answering your question. Some bits in here for the 280, but as mentioned the American market was slightly different in spec. I have the 350 so my references are based on that. May be of some use for generic stuff? you will have probably found most of this in any case, I will let you pick out any useful bits.
Just a bit of what I have come across. All the parts stuff are UK-based, so not sure if they ship internationally.
