Will the SD1/Land Rover intake hose, part number ESR1611LP1 fit on a 350i with a flapper system? It looks a bit short?

I'm not sure, but it does look a bit short. I replaced mine with a silicon one from ACT. Only issue is you need to modify the AFM support to ensure it fits at the correct angle. Talk to Tim at ACT, he knows his Wedges, being a former SEAC owner.

Why pay the TVR tax. Won't this do? It comes in lengths from 0.5 to 4 metres and lots of choice in between!

It will fit but you are to move the air filter to get the angle..it is a very tight bend but will go with a jubilee clip and heat gun

I have bought a 70mm dia rubber 90 degree elbow with 200mm long ends which is the same as the silicone one but was only £22! I do need to make it fit though and it doesnt bend so I will need to realign the air flow meter.

This won't work as the AFM and plenum connections are different diameters, so you do need end connections to suit.

I have a blue silicone hose that has been cut by a previous owner just a tad short, whilst it fits just it is touch and go.
Where did you buy the rubber version?

Cheers

I bought the pipe from eBay:

It was actually £15.85 including P&P!

It will need cutting and I will need to somehow change the angle of the intake unit but it will look the part when it's done. Certainly better than the tatty corrugated hose I currently have!
