Trailing arm pivot pins
Discussion
What I don't understand about them is that they are more like a fixed stud than a pin - the only movement surely is some rotation in the bush attached to the chassis (which is why they seize in the first place?....). Mine aren't bent but I'm just concerned about getting the camber re-set accurately. I removed them to remove the diff (never again!).
I think there is a bit of movement in the arm itself on the pin, the pin is shanked so that would make sense...if there was no movement in the arm and pin then I imagine it would bend or seize....or worst ...snap..I had new ones bend within 2 years...not sure why...might have been metal quality.

I messaged Dom and he was going to post up some info later. Cheers
Just seen this and must admit, I forgot to post up info..I had a couple made from high strength M16 bolts, machined down to suit the trailing arm and and then the pivot bush.
Ive not road tested them yet though so cannot comment on their performance..

Good morning
Would anybody know of a source of the Wedge's trailing arm pivot pins (the front ones which attach to the chassis) which I believe have a part number TVR 025D 021A?
Thank you
John
Hi, ACS pro in Germany has eight of the Pivot Pins part number 025D 021A left in stock. Would anybody know of a source of the Wedge's trailing arm pivot pins (the front ones which attach to the chassis) which I believe have a part number TVR 025D 021A?
Thank you
John
Unfortunately we do not ship to Great Britain at the moment.
Regards
Eckhard
