Anyone fancy a cheap T350

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204238262530?hash=item2...

Not sure what he means by the DVLA comment. There is no reason not to believe what he say's.

Using the the plate shown both Tax and Mot sites show it as bonefide?

Seems a bit pointless not to finish it off, MOT it and then sell - given the prices and rarity of the T350T you'd think spending £5k to finish it / get Autoalign inspection and sell for £27.5k.

Downham Market - Mat Smith territory for an inspection.

Already another thread on it....

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Incl Comments of;-

This looks both interesting and futile all in one, seems to be a 'Breaker' category car that has been re-built but can never be put back on the road so would need a doner car to make it road worthy…

I think the seller knows exactly what he is selling. He knows what category it is and why it's not allowed on the road when he's pretending he doesn't.

That Ebay listing is seriously misleading, and the car would be potentially dangerous to the buyer if he believes the seller's false description and rebuilds or drives it. I have reported it to Ebay as such. The GOV.UK website is very specific for cat. B:

B : Cannot be repaired. Body shell has to be crushed, but you can salvage other parts from it.

If it has already had replacement panels, as noted by an expert on the other Forum thread, someone already broke the law.

Surely that would only apply if someone was seeking to put the car back on the public road? An exam question rather than specific to this situation.

All the above is correct, he should be specific as to the category for sure. He must know?
As I read it, he kind of tentatively implies "N"?
What I find a little confusing is the MOT and Tax stills shows against the reg shown, this also implies less than "B".
This said the other post suggests otherwise.
I think, but not sure, if it was "B" which is crush, the ability to see either MOT or Tax search would be removed by the DVLA.

Wonder if he is reading on here as the description reads ever so slightly different now, still not clarified the V5 status though.
