Hi everyone,

I’m slimming down my collection of Tvr’s and have decided I will be keeping the cerbera.

The one car I’m struggling to get a valuation on is my 350i sport.

It has all its history including the purchase receipt and factory document supporting it is indeed a 225 sport. Bigger brakes, cam and heads, LSD. It has 60k miles.

New roof and some interior trim reupholstered.

Chassis is corrosion free.

Paint is ok for the age but I did plan to have it painted as I wanted to get it tip top.

Any ideas on what it’s worth?

I will get 12 months MOT and a service sorted for its new owners piece of mind.

I was thinking it’s worth around the 6-7 k mark.

Thanks I’m advance for the advice

James

Hi I think £6k to £7k is a very sensible estimate and given the slightly more powerful engine I'd think maybe you should try a little higher, say nearer the £8k mark.

Thank you, that’s always good to hear!!

I’ll get some pictures over the next few weeks and get it up for sale.

Any idea where would be best to advertise ?

There are a few nice-looking wedges on Ebay at the moment, which might give you an indication of value. Mileage & service history will of course have an effect.

This one is a modified 350 with low miles and several performance upgrades, and a private seller. This might be the best comparator :

There is also a low mileage 390SE here :

And finally a couple of standard 350is with average to highish mileage, both trade sales :

Interesting.

The prices seem to fluctuate so much!

Being a genuine factory sport runs in my favour…

Pardon my ignorance James, but do you mean it's a 350SE?

Refer to that post for the info.

I forgot to add that after some digging with the TVR clubs the build sheet stated the upgraded parts were supplied in the boot for powers to install.

But it is a genuine sport upgrade with the invoice / build sheet to prove.
