Slave cylinder to clutch fork rod

As the title really.
My old slave cylinder was weeping, I have purchased a new one, this too is weeping after about 50 miles of driving. I think perhaps that the plunger is traveling too far?
So the question is does anyone have the length of the rod? I was potentially looking at an adjustable one.
I can measure the distances but wanted to get a ballpark starting point, from another user.
