PLENUM GASKET?

Hi,
Should there be a gasket between the plenum chamber and its base? I have just removed my plenum to refurb it but theres no gasket at its base.
Some suppliers list one but others dont so not sure if it should have one?
Appreciate confirmation?

I've not seen one on my Wedges before. I used a smear of blue non setting sealant before reassembling.

A perfect place for a pesky vacuum leak if there's not something there. I have a gasket on my chimaera.

As above I just used a smear of blue stuff, I did consider a gasket and probably would have fitted one if I'd had one, but you can easily check for air leaks afterwards and fit a gasket if need be anyway....
From what I looked into you can buy a plenum base gasket but I couldn't find a trumpet base gasket for a 3.5 only for the larger RV8's
