Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the specific colour of psint code P422 0444 ?

It's a light gold colour, might be champagne gold but can only find one ref for that which is 0444B ?
Mine is 0444 without the B

Cheers in advance,

Tony

Hi Tony, just a blind guess but there may have been a few different variations of the same colour.
The gold car I sold recently was, I believe Ford Champagne Gold. It had been resprayed at some point and where the top paint had come away, the lower gold did look very very very slightly different. To confuse things, the chap I bought it off gave me a touch up kit - a Merc shade of silver which was close but not that close.

V5 doc said Beige!

Not sure about the colour code - but my wedge and several others are 'oyster gold'. That might be slightly darker than you're talking about though.
Have you got any pictures?

My foray into blue paint codes has not gone anywhere I am still none the wiser.

I have a local paint mixer that will match the paint and supply a can for about £40 quid from memory. I have used them before when the paint code is known. In my case, I do not even have a starting point other than blue.
I don't know where you are based the paint match place is called Leonard Brookes in Harlow, if that helps. They also know TVR codes or did for the couple of blues I spoke to them about.

Ah yep, your gold is noticeably lighter than mine which is oyster gold.

Yours might be Champaign Gold?

Depending where you live in the Midlands, I have used Auto Supplies Chesterfield (just off M1 J29 I think) https://www.auto-supplies.co.uk with very good results. They can match any paint and make it up for you, they did mine while I waited. Just give them a ring first.

Hi not sure if this helps, I came across it when I was searching.
There appears to be a number of gold types "ctrl f" and search "gold" rather than number.
