Does anyone have a picture / illustration showing the pipe route from master to slave cylinder?
Also a picture showing the pipes around the brake balancer would be great

Hi

By pure chance I'm preparing to remove my engine so am busy taking photos to assist later in case of memory lapses. This is the route which I have inherited - whether it's original I don't know. I see no reason why the pipework can't com further along the wing and the down and into a shapely "U" if that is easier to get directly onto the slave cylinder. Certainly this route avoids the brake pressure regulator valve but is nicely in the way of spark plug removal! Fortunately there is flex in the system.

I hope the photos are of help.

Thanks - great photos
I'm sure they will be also invaluable for further items - one already jumps our positioning of the brake balancer

John's ones don't look "standard", I think it goes more to the front and then back again avoiding the manifolds.

Off the master up into a U bend and back down behind the edge of the servo. Forwards along the top of the GF lip above the chassis rail. Turns over the edge of the lip and runs down the chassis section forming the upper suspension mount. Passes under the steering shaft and back to the slave with an expansion loop just before the slave.

That's another question answered about the expansion loop
