Great website here with all the information needed http://www.wedgeneering.co.uk/TVR%20390SE%20p6.htm
Here's a couple of links that I found that are useful.
http://www.team.net/TR8/tr8cca/wedgelab/other/head...
This is in german, but google translates it OK

I also have a stripdown PDF that I found somewhere, drop me a mail and I will forward it, as I can't attach a file only an image.

More to the point Wyn - when are you going to add the blower? And welcome back!
Hi Adam, blower would be an option I would never rule out. That ride in yours back in 06 ish at the Wedge fest is still vivid in my memory
This one goes like a stabbed rat TBH. It has the Tornado ECU etc. I'm getting a big stutter every time I accelerate though. Rather annoying. Will be opening a separate thread on that. How's the SX?

Hello, hope that you're sorted by now
If your pods are still suffering from erectile dysfunction, the following may help
Taken from http://www.wedgeneering.co.uk/TVR%20390SE%20p6.htm
Diagram 2
2. Lights are on (Low Beam). A 12v feed appears at one of the two diodes feeding the coil of the Headlamp Motor Control relay. This causes the relay to change over and it applies 12v to each pod motor via the Whi/Purple wires. Passing through one of the motor internal diodes and the closed switch contact, it is fed back to the coil of the Motor relay. The Motor relay changes over and applies 12v to the motor itself, which then starts to lift the pod. Note that the motor's internal switch stays closed during the lift cycle.

Think back a little
Did both pods fail to rise at the same time?
or
Did one pod fail to rise and then the other fail to rise at a later date..............................This matters much
If one pod failed to rise..........................................................Post here to verify
If both pods fail to rise with lights switched on and checked with column switch at dip and main position, (taking note that bulbs are illuminating)....................
Looking at the above diagram....................
See that one of or other of the 2 diodes (bottom left) supply a positive to the headlamp motor control relay coil depending upon what position the column switch is in (that being dip or main)
Going by the fact that the pods lower ok tells us/you/me/whoever that the side/head switch and column switch are functioning correctly
There is a problem with the headlamp motor control relay
or
There is a problem with the wiring to the headlamp motor control relay
or
There is a problem with the wiring from the headlamp motor control relay to both pods
Ask me how do I know?
It's like that it's just the way it is
