Boot hinge pins?

Anyone know where I could get new pins for my boot hinges? They keep worming their way out and I lost one on the M5.

83 S1 convertible. Can send pics if needed.

The pins on my 350i also kept working out, until I superglued the buggers in..... Can you not measure the remaining pin and order a short length of suitable round bar and cut to suit, plus superglue!

I'm assuming yours is a chrome one? There's one on ebay starting at £5. Nothing to do with me though.

You know I literally went out with a tube of superglue to sort them out, only to realise that one had gone.

Thanks for the pointer - i'll probably bodge something together that way or grab this one off Ebay.

Small stainless bolt, cut head off and fit two dome nuts, worked for me

Wow I remember supergluing mine maybe 20 years ago!
