Think I better nip down to IKEA and get a bookshelf, anyone tried getting flat-pack selfs in a 400 boot?

You could strap it to the rear spoiler. Shouldn't mess up the aerodynamics too much.

Does the bible have the wedge service schedules too?
Yes. There is a whole chapter on the topic.

It's worth taking a look at :
http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Peter_Beech/TVR/Index.htm
This is for the Griff / Chimp but shares many of the same features... and it's free.

Oh what features are they?
Suspension is different. So are the brakes, drive train, wiring, body work, interior, wheels, cooling system, instrumentation, fuel injection systems, service schedules and so on.
The engines do both have 8 cylinders and so on. In reality there is little in common with these cars once you get over the engine and even that is debateable. The Wedges are pretty unique and have far less in common with Griffi and the S series than you would at first think.

Potential loss-of-sale situation nicely countered there!

I can't vouch for the wedges, but I have the bible for the S series (2nd edition) and it's a winner. The only mistake I made was buying the car before the book!
