Local chap takes pictures of unusual old cars and writes a bit of info - he took some nice ones of my 280i for any interested party

Looks great. I had similar late last year. The project for a student from Worcester University was the development of cars and particularly the changes in styling over the years. She was very keen for a photo session with the SEAC, so obviously I had to oblige.

Stunning! The SEAC is a very serious looking manifestation of the Wedge. Hope to see it in the flesh in not too long, if BBWF happens.

It's interesting how much more popular the wedges seem to be with people who weren't born when they came out. Funny how something can look completely different to a different generation.

Thanks for the comment and yes let's hope the BBWF goes ahead this year.

The SEAC does look good, from a distance.... in reality the paintwork is bubbled from top to bottom so will need a full respray in the future, but the bubbles don't slow it down so I'm in no rush.......

My 18 year old had zero interest in my 350i or 390SE but loves the SEAC, although this might in part be down to the ever so noisy quad side pipes....... All of his mates however love the Wedge shape on all variants. No doubt because they are so different to todays very curvy offerings.

Cheers.
