no liquid arriving when bleeding rear
Discussion
after repairing a torn-off bleeder on the rear (removal of caliper, drilling out the bleeder, re-fitting everything ..all in 3h....) i´m not able to bleed my rear brakes.
front brakes have been bleed the day before.
after half pedal travel it becomes rock hard and no liquid exits the rear bleeder.
does it have to do with the so called "Deceleration Control Valve" or G-Valve (how the landrover people call it).
by the way: 2 weeks before car was on a brake-tester and the rears showed correct values.

my car is still jacked up at the rear...to get access to the brakes....so this would explain that bleeding isnt possible...and would also be a prove that the valve is still in good working order
here a few pics i found from the valve fitted to sierra´s ...looks nearly identical:

I doubt it will cut off the rears completely, I have bled mine and of course the rear would have been jacked up a bit.
More likely there's something stuck in out bleed nipple. Before taking it all out again, try slackening off the rear brake line where it enters the calliper, next to the bleed nipple, if the pedal goes softer and the fluid flows, then it's not your bias valve causing the issue.

What was the jacking angle? It could be that the bias valve is tilted too much, they are on a bracket with a slot in them, so can be adjusted w.r.t. the horizontal.
If it's coming on too early the braking might get a bit squiffy when hard braking, as you need a bit at the back to maintain overall stability.
