SE Boot Hinge Arrangement

Hi All - can someone post a pic of the concealed boot arrangement on an SE. I'm getting a new paint job next year and want to do away with the external hinges as part of the bodywork mods.

No - because it's concealed! Nothing to see here....

But there might be some drawings in the parts manual, will take a look over the Xmas break.

Thanks Adam - though I think there's a market for ally flush fitting hinges if anyone has the skills to make them...I know I could design them.

Haha I had forgotten that! I was misremembering it was some sort of OEM hinge under the lid... yes that's the way to do it, with a couple of bolts, and it's still working fine after 30 years.

Nice one - an easy arrangement, thought I'd need to configue a couple of hinges.

Don’t forget the 400SE boot lid has almost square corners, the earlier cars are much rounder hence hinge vs the bolt solution
