That's a throttle cable though - still, not a bad price if you need one.

Do you need the whole thing or just the inner? If the latter maybe this will fit https://tinyurl.com/y988xbwf

Have you tried pulling the inner out and greasing it up?

Our speedo packed up on the way to BBWF.....I got round to removing the cable last night, the inner cable has snapped... the outer looks ok ….just a few scuffs . What was the conclusion, regarding getting a replacement..
cheers

Don't expect it back anytime soon. Their name is ironic.

Are you sure the cable isn't just loose on the back of the speedo?

Mine jumped around a lot then stopped. Turned out to have undone itself and come off. Small blob of grease, reinsert and tighten. Speedo works fine and doesn't jump around.

Also check the gearbox end for fitment.

Understatement of the century, it took em nearly 3 months to do a silver shadow cable for me!

When my wedge cable snapped i just ended up welding it back together & It's been good for 6 years now. Other alternative is to buy a universal inner cable and resolder or crimp your existing cable end onto it. Pretty easy job.

The inner cable is in two pieces.... broken around the halfway point.. Perhaps I should call them first to check estimated turn around...….it could be even longer this time of year due to summer holidays.

Mine split in the middle as well, but because the outer sheath limits the bend radius welding works fine.

I have had very good service from them, they have made throttle cables up for me while I waited as it was urgent
