It’s a sad day today as my pride and joy has gone to a new owner after three and half years. The good news is that it’ll be staying in the UK and is sold to a really nice guy who I’m sure will look after it. Many thanks to everyone on here for the help and advice over the years.

It was collected on a trailer this morning and I’m already having withdrawal symptoms. Still, I’ll just have to make do with my other car for now, a German engineered BMW 645ci V8 convertible. What can I say, it’s a hard life.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but it has 330 horses under the bonnet.

Too true my friend, too true! I never say never, but I would like to try something different this time, even if it’s not a TVR.

Well, it looks like Adam was right. I’m back in with another Wedge, but hopefully it’s just temporary. I bought this because it’s taking too long to find what I want and I need something to play around with in the meantime. However, I’m impressed. I’ve never had a 350i before and it’s quite a nice car.

Welcome back Tony. Although my 390SE is way more powerful than my 350i, the less tweaked engine is a lovely relaxing drive, and will pull happily from 1000rpm. There's a rather nice SEAC for sale, which you've no doubt seen............ Hope all is well. Cheers.

Thanks, it’s good to be back. Yes it drives rather nice and has a lot of power too. There are two nice SEAC’s for sale at the moment. The wild rover is up for sale again at 28k and the blue one at 35k on PH. The trouble is I can’t justify that amount of money for a weekend toy nice as they may be.

We all love our Wedges and there is nothing quite like the Wedge. The BMW E63 is a different beast. My car is the 645Ci convertible V8 automatic. I’ve owned it since it was two years old. Probably the longest I’ve kept any car. Everything is electric and in sport mode it’s insanely powerful. It’s reliable too, but is it as fun to drive as the Wedge? Well, no, it’s not, but, it is a lovely car.
