Idle valve and stepper motor clean
Discussion
Hi
Removed idle valve and stepper motor to give them a clean anybody know best way to go about it . The stepper motor is not black screw in type I removed cover with 3 Allen bolts and there is a spring behind it . Does spring come out or do I clean in situ or do I have the wrong thing . Cheers

the overrun valve sits in the recess that are on the trumpet housing and the cover it can be pulled out but it is meant to seat in either. just make sure it is clean
As said above...also make sure you seal the gasket with some Wynn's black gasket maker or blue Hylomar.....let it go off for an hour before starting the car...
Cleaned extra air valve when cold disc inside showed L shaped hole I warmed it up and it moved just to leave a square if that makes sense it didn't close completely is this ok .
Overrun valve won't come out of plenum but spring moves freely and I can move disc plenum end to reveal a series of holes
