Bonnet proud near side fhc 2.8

Hi,when bonnet closing /shut near side seems to be held up by injection pump/air filter assy - is this a common issue.?can this assembly be lowered slightly and /or cut away bonnet insulation?.

Hi mate


I had the air box under the metering unit made with the inlet coming from a K&N in the nosecone...this did lower it somewhat but was more for bringing in cold air as originally the opening was in front of the rad...Okay on a cool day...

If you do modify it make sure that the air intake opening is no less than 3" outer diameter...
