Tasmin 280i Seats

I've bought an old Tasmin 280i at a snip as the interior is a bit shoddy!! Can some one tell where I can get some seats that will fit. I've heard that old XJS seats fit, is this correct?? If not, can someone point me in the right direction!!

A mate of mine fitted seats from a Rover 200/ 400, I forget which. He had to bin all the electric motors and so on, but they look well.
Why bother fitting different ones? There must be plenty of original seats around from the cars that were stripped for the Tasmin Challenge. I bet you won't have to look far on here to find some...

I'm quite pleased with the cloth Mazda Miata MX5 seats in my '83 Tasmin. 'Much more comfortable than the original leather seats. With a minor amount of modification to the mounting brackets and cutting a bit of the foam, the installation was painless. The best part is that they only cost me $50.00 Cdn. each from a wrecker! The headrest speakers allow radio listening at speed. There are instructions on how to install Miata seats into a Triumph Spitfire on the internet.
