Who's heard of Hiclone?

During my forays into finding a replacement air filter for my 280i (I ended up with an ITG) I found Hiclone Pty Ltd in Melbourne. They manufacture and retail a gizmo that fits into the air hose between the filter box and the injection system and is supposed to tailor the airflow better. their site is www.hiclone.com.au and they quote more power, less fuel better combustion etc.....

The staff are extremely courteous and appear to know their stuff. I was advised that the Hiclone is fitted to new Porsches (why not TVRs??)

Does anyone have any stories to relate re this invention or am I going to have to buy one and report back?

Looks a bit dubious to me I'd have to say, it also looks like the sort of thing that you could make yourself with a few bits of tin. Have go by all means but I d say where they locate the doobry (at the airflow meter or carb) is going to have b#gger all effect by the time it gets to the cylinder.
