Exhausting

Hello all Does anyone have any or know where I can get 2nd hand exhaust manifolds for a V8 wedge? My are well past it. Also does anyone know of an alternative design for these bits so the Primaries are a decent length? Matt

I had my wedge exhaust rebuilt by the guys at powerflow (Franchise that advertises in the max power mags) Mine is stainless, built to my own design. cost me £330 and sounds awsome. If you got for one.. you are better saving for a stainless one. they are only a few more ponds than mild steel, and last years longer. Jason

Jason, what exactly did you get for the £330??. Manifolds, tail pipes, fitting??

for £330, I had the centre box and everything backwards of that made to me spec. Twin entry centre box, with a single 3" out. one single pipe going straight back to under the back spoiler, then twisted to poke out of the normal hole, with a 4" tailpipe sttached. That was the development and fitting. Manifolds cost about £180 ish each in stainless .. Richie Aldous has a pair on his 390SE

it sounds absolutly amasing... Incidently, since I increased the fuel pressure, it produces lots more popping and banging on overrun and when you shut off the throttle high in the revvs. It has only been the last 4 days that I have really noticed the flames comming from the exhaust pipe too )

No flames on mine just lots of popping and crackling. Oh to be able to singe peoples front number plate on the over-run Patrick.
