I read the Matthew Wycherley article on this web, nice but.., tried to mail webmaster and also tried Wedge Automotive(since a year back), and i´m still missing the wheel badges on my 350i.

Could anybody PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me a hint who to call in UK and what to ask for as a replacement ???

I've got a set attached to some 280i wheels I may be willing to sell at a bargain price

They're the ones on the silver cup-shape-things that fit in the middle of the lattice type alloys.

I have 4 of them but a badge is missing from one.

Also I think I remember an article on wedgepages about making a replacement for them. Mike should know.
Ignore me if that's what you were taking about.

Christopher Neil ?
I´ll give them a call tomorrow. I´ve read the article 45 times by now and i must say i fancy the the "updated looks". Doesn´t make my 350 a real Tuscan(shame..), but it should make the TVR logo more visible to the ignorant swedish crowd. If i can´t track them down this week, you´ll here from me bobfrance (i have ONE badge left..) !

Thanx guys. New i could count on you.

Ok, sorted that problem in 2,5 minutes.. Christopher Neil will send them asap. Thanks Danny.

For us located a million miles from UK i wonder: Who is the, in general, best dealer(TVR parts) to contact ? Maybee Mike could arrange a list(downloadable excel chart easiest way Mike?) where different dealers can be rated after, speed, skills, general satisfaction etc.. Our judgement is forwarded by mailing honest Mike.

I´m not shure it´s a matter of course that Wedge Automotive or Tower View would top that list, despite there good reputation even here. You guys may know better !

Hi chaps,

Thought I'd better mention as well that there are actually several different sizes of chrome wheel centre caps. TVR used slightly different lattice alloys across the production of the wedges and the caps are different (depth and diameter).

Just in case you thought of buying a second hand set off another owner you had first better check that the part numbers moulded inside of the caps match.

The replacement badges article on the wedge site was written about the earlier type of centre cap. I have the larger later type and the badges still fitted but I needed to 'fill out' the extra space with a little more glue.

Oh almost forgot,

You should be able to obtain the badges from ANY TVR dealer with a parts department or from TVR direct. You should be able to obtain the address's from the TVR main website, look under dealers.

I got mine from Newtown Motors in South Wales.

Got 4 badges today from Christopher Neil. 6,33 a piece, totally 31£. Sorry to say this but, ONCE AGAIN, i´m NOT happy with the way dealers from UK treat (foreign?)customers. I got 3 badges stick on aluminum plates and one "soft" badge, same size, but with a logo in different size !!! Sadly, i´m getting used to this by now.. One more on my "black list" !

Seeing as I suggested CN I feel a little guilty.

Tell them you are not happy and in my experience they will sort you out.

It´s ok Danny. Problem is that it get´s expensive to send stuff back and forth to UK all the time. This one is ok, but it was worse a year ago, when i ordered a roll bar, it arrived, and guess, one of five main parts was missing...(and a friend of mine couldn´t use his at all since it didn´t FIT) That made me long for my stolen(!) 330hp mint Sapphire Cosworth; Well, at least for a while.

Give Paul a call, he will prob just send you the correct item. CN never seem to have a lot of fans, but they have always come through for me in the past.

And so did for me. I just got the forth badge to replace one that was in different style. Took some time due to holidays. No extra costs. Nice CN ! The badges are looking far better than the original. If anyone wants to order, ask for 52mm badges, mounted on ALUMINUM plates.
