Thanks for the info on the fuel filter. I think I should replace the hose from swirl pot to petrol pump,it seems to have an o/d of 20mm any idea of the inside diameter and does it need to be high pressure as it is before the pump?

1/2 inch or 13mm, no hi pressure.

Watch out for kinks. Mine was so tight it caused problems. Had to re-route with a loop to allow free flow. As I had just replaced the lot, it was all high pressure for the hell of it. Even the return.
