What is the differnece between a normal 390SE and a 390SE FHC. Not sure I know what an FHC is. Anyone got a explanation, or picture.

Yep, TVR did a one off (surprise!) 390SE Fixed Head Coupe. I saw it at the Golden Mania event at Brands Hatch a few years ago. It was a Pukey Yellow colour and had noticable stress cracks appearing around the headlamp pods. I think it had 350SE wheels on it at the time, but do not quote me on that. It was there as part of a dealer display and was for sale then at around 15-16K. I would have liked to have bought that car as I had a 280i FHC at the time, but the colour and the price put me off. I noticed it was for sale in this months TVR Sprint for a pretty cheap price !!
Might be worth the investment for someone if they want a one off !!

Regards

Nige' an a 450 SE

Theres a 1985 400 FHC(Gun Metal Grey) for sale in the ClassicCars mag, not sure how original it is though, the ad claims 350 horses! Must be worth looking at for £5,950???

I had a chat with the guy who's eslling it - he's got pictures to email as well. It' essnetially a Tasmin witha 400SE engine, in (IMO) a rather nice yellow colour.

Rthaer nice story - a woman wrote off her tasmin, liked it so much that TVR agreed to build her a new one, in 1990!
