In a C2 S1600 with a guy called Sean Bannister, i've done the Cambrian every year since 2001 only missing last year due to the arival of my son!! It will be good to be back out on such underused forests again...

Been working on the focus all year and nearly finished. Hope to get it ready for the Cambrian. Have entered every one since 2002 and a few earlier going back to 1975

What times and where are the best spots for spectating the start, finish, and in between bits being as you've been going for so long? I'm only 15mins from Ruthin and used to love watching the rallying down at Clocaenog!

Does anyone have a map of where each stage will be? I know I will be able to get one on Friday in Llandudno, but I'll be taking my 2 little kids, so I want to plan my spectator points and route well in advance.

Many thanks. I did have a good look around the website expecting something to be up there already. I'll be patient and wait a few more days!

I would suggest SS1 Cloc East, as you will get to see all 175 cars (hopefully!) there are a couple of long straights downhill (approx 450 yards) which goes into a hairpin right, I should imagine the big boys (and girls) will be doing well over 120mph on that stretch.

I would then move onto SS5 for the last stage to see who left!!

Info will be posted onto the site as and when I receive instruction.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mikko and the Ford Team at scruitneering on Friday night in Llandudno.

what a bloody fantastic day! got an epic spot on the first stage, near the start. watching hirvonen dance his car through the sweeping right hander was like nothing ive ever seen before - i was in absolute awe!

a great day out for only a fiver, fantastic vantage points and some great driving. my first ever rally but deffo wont be my last!

afternoon was topped off by a blast round the evo - highlight being driving past hirvonen et al on their way to the next stage smile

i wreak of race fuel after it was wafting about on the breeze but am one happy pistonheader!

smile
