I tried posting this in the main Houses DIY etc forum but got no response.

I'm getting royally pissed off with letting agents apathy towards someone looking to rent a property, and then being quoted an arm and a leg (my kidneys are worthless these days) for agents fees, credit checks, oh and the latest today showing me around a property were they already have someone who've returned the application.

So here's my pitch, I've just started working in Sandycroft (average time spent at the company is apparently 15years, certainly your a newbie if you haven't been there 10) and I'm looking for somewhere to rent, the only considerations for us are the property must have a garage (and as much parking as possible we are petrolheads after all) and the landlord not mind pets - the girlfriends cat and a couple of fishtanks! Ideally I want to be able to cycle or walk into work, so Harwarden, Ewloe, Connah's Quay etc would be ideal (or Sandycroft itself!), were not fussed if it's a semi, detached, terrace, bungalow etc. 2 bedrooms are fine, 3 ideal.

So if you are that landlord, or know of any landlords with that sort of property could you contact us via my profile, we're looking to move ASAP as she's living over in Loughborough atm (although she needs to give a months notice on the current property), and I'm stopping with my folks during the week; it's not ideal.

Regards
Iain

Cheers thumbup Looked at a place about 2 streets back that was about right, but the landlord will only let it fully furnished, which is no good!

I know of a tidy bungalow with garage at the top of wepre lane in C/Q, I think they want £600ish PCM - if you're interested I can look into it for you?

I hope you're not working for GEM Eng!
