Not much out and about on The Triangle today (apart from loads of bikes)...But if you were in a White 911 GT3; an ORANGE 911 GT3smokin; Red VX220; Black Celica GT4 or a Green Chimaera (leaving the reservoir car park)then consider yourself spotted

Haha, did you manage to miss the convoy of Scooby, Cayman, TVR Chim, Clio 182, Type R, Smart Coupe, and insane Miata and 318is coupe???How could you, lol.

I didn't wee the other cars either, though, so must have been a timing thing smile

Beautiful day though, wasn't it?

Yep; missed all that lot; but then the triangle covers a fair bit of ground I suppose.
Incidentally; there are some other awesome roads (some much better than the triangle) if you venture a little further towards Dolgellau and Bala

Yes, we did them all.

But are any of them as good as the road up from Ruthin to the easterly corner of the triangle?? I'm not sure they are smile Man that is a great road.

Bala to Penybontfawr was terrible though. It was really busy. Hasn't been any other time I've done that run.

Is the triangle very well-known amongst all manner of motoring circle now?

I was flicking through Redline magazine that one of the young chavs at work had on his desk, and it's in there as one of the top ten roads ever - but called the 'Betws-y-Coed triangle'.

Been well know for a good few years...would guess more so since Evo magazine used it for testing (pretty sure its something like that where the name came from)
