Another great weekend in Wales

Just had another great weekend in North Wales.
We met up on the Saturday for a casual drive from Cheter along the coast to the Great Orme for lunch. This was mainly to give the guys driving a long distance something to make the weekend worth the trip.

The weather was dry but a little breezy. We had just under thirty cars for this day.


On the Sunday we left at 10am from Chester services to dive down to Bala for lunch. With over 60 cars expected we were in touch with the police who were great and very helpful.

The weather for this bit of the drive was shocking, very heavy rain. My thoughts at this point did turn to people climbing up Snowdon.

As we arrived in Bala the sun came out and it was lovely.

After lunch we headed out over the Evo and had a quick stop at the sportsmans arms to take some more pics. Getting into the car park was a struggle though.

Nice...that explains the preponderance of Z cars mixing it with the V.W's straggling back in the rain on the 55 from the show at Bodelwyddan perhaps.

Wish I'd actually tried to get out a little futher than down the road...weather was on/off with the water works for me so ended up going 15 miles on to anglesey only to turn around due to rain (fair weather biker on the weekends)! Would love to have seen a decent convoye of the Z'd! Good show Chaps!

as always martin, looks like a great weekend with a great turnout! sadly, my plans didnt quite happen soon enough to join you, but the intention is still there mate!

ive not seen many shots of your zed with the roof down though bud - i thought you were more hardcore than that!

Unfortunately, when I got up that morning I was very pleased, my MI light had cleared itself. As ever, good news came with bad news, the roof wouldnt drop. Its the old 5th and 6th joints sticking problem so sorted now.
