Hey guys,

I am currently in the process of trying to organising a rolling road day somwhere between the 1st of June and the 31st of July.

I will not disclose too much information but I have gotten in contact with a couple of places that have rolling roads and should hopefully have a venue sorted in the next few weeks.

I am unsure of the price/exact date/maximum number of vehicles as of yet but should be able to let you know soon.

If you would be interested please let me know ASAP that way I can use this thread as potential leverage to persuade (if needed) the company to host the event

I cannot say how many will be accommodated so if you put your names down it will be first come first serve, and if there are 50 names down but only 30 places then the first 30 will be given a place and the rest put on reserve.

Thanks

Thom

WE HAVE A VENUE!!!!!

Granted its not quite North Wales, But its the closest place I could find.

This is the address

Dyno Demon Limited
5 Westwood Court
Clayhill Industrial Park
Neston Wirral
CH64 3UJ

Website is
dynodemon.co.uk

The maximum they can cope with is 30 cars

And it will cost £35 per car and includes refreshments.

This dyno will cope with ANY vehicle with up to 3000bhp (this includes 4WD)

The date booked is Saturday 18th of July.

When it gets to the 1st of july I will be taking deposits.

Hopefully this will be a great day out.

If intersted please fill out your name in the table.

Thanks

Thom

Dyno Demon - well i am 5 miles from Neston and never knew there was a rolling road there. I personally use AB Garage in Hawarden - right behind the Airbus factory. They are grasstrack racers and great for setting up carbs, bike engines etc. They recently did a couple of mate's cars, one with an R1 bike engine and another with an Aprillia RSV engine. Big grasstrack racers and so excellent with many tuned engines. When we were there last week, they had a 300+ rear wheel bhp Corsa in there with a turbo'd redtop!!! More of an old school tuners than a "Superchips" type place, but I guess the idea is quick turnover for a power run??

I've been to both, AB garage and Dyno Demon.....the blokes at AB are very knowledgeable but their dyno is questionable and a pain in the arse for anyone with a low car...also very minimal space.

Dyno Demon, is new and flashy but their brand new Dyno dynamics set of rollers are superb and it's a great place for a RR day.
