There is a new web based bike club called Dragons MCC. They are looking for new members to become involved in their forum and join in with rideouts and meets.

The club is loosely based around Wrexham but current members come from North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire.

I joined about a month ago and was warmly welcomed.

The club is not bike specific. It is just made up of nice ordinary people who enjoy their bikes and good company.

Please check out their site on:

Hey there, thought I'd give this a 'bump' up! Although I've been hooning round the North Wales hill some 3 years now I've not really met many other lick minded people, so thought I'd try and get this going (mini PH BB section mayb).

Anyways I'm based in the Bangor area and enjoy a sunny weekends on the GSXR 1000. Will be looking to attempt a first track day late July so if anyone fancies a weekend run or possibly joining in with a 'first timers' track day at Ty Croes give me a shout.

I will be using my own, bit risky for a first time but would rather get used to it than another machine!

Lol well you'd think July would mean summer but that counts for jack these days! How's about u, hire or your own??

Not sure wether to hire one but i'm like you, would rather use my own to get used to it on a track. Yeah the weathers just a pain in the ass!

Have you looked up getting track day insurance by any chance? Just wonder where and what sort of cost!

not really thought about it, not sure whether to bother unless you have to?

Nope, no requirement plus it only covers your machine...not the potential damage to anything else! Think I'll just be making sure the bobbins are nicely fixed on!

ETA hopefully getting mine trailered there so if you need bits running down then there should be some space in the car!
