It's time for another run out.

It's the usual morning run with lunch somewhere followed by our return to welsh borders.

I am sorting out the hotel meal if anyone is interested.

See http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Only criteria is you can drive safely.

Must admit that this tour is looking a little low on takers. Either everyone has sold their cars or the price of petrol has put everyone off.

We do have some fast cars in wales mate, try 0-60 sub 4 sec. 400kg weight, 375bhp / tonne.
Not much will keep up with my little beast.
I am up for a run evo triangle I take it.

how fast is fast and how safe is safe(joke!)...??

id say round here its more like how crazy you are that determines your pace!

if i still have 290bhp at my disposal on the 16th, and if its enough, then i may well join you this time johnbear. know my way around the roads which may help my cause for being a back markerwink

Hi - Must confess I don't visit the forum very often. I normally organise the North Wales Meets for the Honda S2000 Owners Club and have the next one later this year. So as I haven't got much to do I would like to come along and support this "event".

It's not a very fast car I'm afraid and also I'm the oldest S2000 owner in the club so don't put my foot down too heavy on the gas peddle. If you can tollerate me I'd love to join in!

I presume details of meeting point etc will be posted.

I'll add you guys to the main thread in the TVR section.

The Chimera has S2000 Seats so you'll feel a little at home! It's moved from being a TVR to a general meet.

Anway, you'll get PDf maps, tom tom files and meet up directions a few days before.

Saturday

We'll all meet up from 9.00 am on the 16th August and leave at 9.30 am.

The route is a 160 miles or so, if we all fuel up at the meet point at the Esso opposite.

We'll leave Shrewbury at 9.30.

Ah - now that gives me a problem. I will have another 160+ miles round trip to get to the start line and back home afterwards! Gonna have to give it a bit more thought. The NORTH word had me thinking of somewhere between Chester and Anglesey!

That's not a problem because I am in Chester.

I'll send you the route and you choose where to meet us.

The start is so far south because of the West Midlands Guys, but it rapidly moves North.

i may well end up meeting you part way through too, as i live the other side of oswestry, so the "wrong" side of the start line!

trouble is, i think i know where you will be heading first, and its a very good route....!

looking forward to it!

Just spotted the thread John! I was about to type pencil me it, but them my wife peered over my shoulder and just reminded that we have prior arrangements for that weekend. Gutted! I really enjoyed the last one.

I'll be there if anything changes though. That's if you'll have me and my Porker back!

JohnBear, do you class a Golf GTI as a "fast car"?

As a new member you will probably have to PM JohnBear for information. We don't want the plod following our route! But seeing as I know you personally I'll let John know you're all good!
