Oxford / North Wales Meet
Discussion
Some of you may remember that last year the oxford lot came up, we ended up showing them the Evo triangle. See Pics from last year
Anyway they have 12 cars and 22 people attending during the wekend of Sunday 21st May, want lunch and a run out.
I am no longer organising these events, but I am happy to post details in this forum.

Hello gentlemen !! of the North Wales TVR club.
As Simon has posted we are revisiting our outing of last year and coming with 13 cars to Llangollen for the weekend of 20th May 2006---staying at Gales Wine Bar.
Assuming that we are still sober, we would love to meet up on the Sunday morning 21st May at say 10.30 /11.00 am in the car park of the Wild Pheasant and go for a bit of a run out, hopefully to include the EVO triangle which we all enjoyed so much last year
Simon is no longer RO of Wales and I am looking to find another member who would be prepared to help organise your club to meet with us on the day and make local arrangements.
Any volunteers ?
My email address is mike_kidd@btinternet.com and my tel nos are in Sprint under RO Oxfordshire
Hope we can get a volunteer---and a good turn out
Thanks
Mike Kidd
Ok chaps, its all set.
Two 1 1/2 hour drives with lunch in between, 140 miles of some of the most breathtaking driving roads in the land, a famous trianlge and three tunnels totaling 1.4 miles!
Plus a bit of fun with a couple of competitions with prizes. Oooooo I hear the crowd go!
15 TVR's are confirmed in attendance plus anyone else who fancys good laugh.
Details of the route and timmings will not be posted here for obvious reasons. E-mail me for all details.
Wee man.

Well, its sunshining now! But don't hold your breath for the morning.
Even so, for those who are interested I will be meeting with the chaps from Oxford at 10.30am at the Wild Pheasant on the A5 in Llangollen.
They have confirmed at 12 cars. I have heard from three other North wales chaps who have confirmed they are coming. So its up to you, North Wales Sports Cars. Are you up for it? If so then I will see you too in the morning.

It was a VERY wet and windswept meet. But a good time was had by all.
We cut short the run out due to weather and a very late night in Llangollen(3.30am)! Ending up for lunch at the Sportsman's Arms.
The prize for the dirtiest car was won by Mike Kidd, Oxford RO. He blamed his wife for the interior mess and she blamed him! Such is wedded bliss! Many thanks to Jay and Pete for the judging.
The ladies prize of a bottle of wine was awarded to the lady who seemed most in need of another drink after last night. It would me most impolite for me to mention her name. Cough Lisa Cough!!
Promise of a longer return trip next year have been made and there is open invitation for us to go down to Oxford.
Thanks to all who attended and thanks also for the appologies for absence received.
Until next time.
