Hello,

just to let everyone know there is a sport car meet this sunday (7th August) in Betws-y-Coed at 12-12.30pm (opposite train station).

Currently we are looking at between 10-15 cars, ranging from TVR T350's, Tuscan's Porsches, Maserati's, Jag's, Surbura's etc.

If you have a sport car and fancy lunch out on some of the finest roads, then please join us.

Hi Simon,

Hoping to make it (Jaguar XKR). Planning to build up an appetite first by a canter up Snowdon before lunch. Look forward to meeting you in Betws.

I might try and stop off on the way to or from portmeirion.

It'll be the first real open top blast for my little MR2, it's not a sports car in the TVR/porka sense.....but it's not a hatch back, so it's a step in the right direction.

Sorry I was a no show

I had a great drive from chester to portmeirion and back again, including a fantastic 20 mile blast back towards Chester with another MR2 roadster.

There was an outstanding 350z and an Alfa. We were suppose to have a maserati but that went into the back of one of the Tuscan 2's ... ouch!!

Sorry I didn't make it.
Typical another wedge there too.
Been nursing sore shoulders and sunstroke after the karting yesterday.
See you next month.

the wedge is in the north wales lot, I think he said he met you at the wedge fest recently - number plate IBZ... he lives in mold somewhere.

Hey looks like you had a good turn out. Sorry I missed you all, the walk up Snowdon was great but didn't get back to Betws until 12.35, I guess you had all gone by then? There was a red TVR in the car park but no driver in sight, the place was heaving.

I think I met the Maserati on Saturday night - sat on my tail between Betws and Capel Curig.... Fast motor.

I think I met him in one of the Cheshire meets? Does he have grey hair and a beard?

Answers to the name of Santa? (No. Just kidding).

I'm asuming you have sore shoulders from the Gforce exerted from me passing you on the track (several times) Your sunstroke will have come from the fact that you were almost stationary, you might as well have been sunbathing at least you may of got a better result.

yes I do tend to post them on here but if you let me have your email address, then I'll add you to the group, as most information gets emailed.
