guys am planning a trip back to Wales as part of our car clubs annual Road Trip. Current plan is to head into Wales from the Shrops area after having a night in the Peaks, we then have a couple of nights in LLangollen before heading for our final night down to LLandrindod wells.

I have done a route using TYRE ( trace your route everywhere) for the 3rd day which takes us from/back to LLangollen, up LLandudno via part of the Evo and back via LLanberis. I wondered if any kind soul that has TYRE or is prepared to download it ( its a freebie ) would mind casting their eyes over the route in case we've missed any roads/sections that really are 'must do's'.

same really for Mid Wales ( Trefy ) has been kind enough to suggest a few roads in the past, but again helpful to sanity check.

sadly no time to stop at the Pigeons, we're on a mission........but had already noted the 'Shoe' and the pass that you mention just north of that......from memory we do both on our way in to Llangollen......

The bit from Llandegla past Bodidris Hall towards Fauxdegla has recently been resurfaced........
