Porsche specialist near Dundee
Discussion
Hey guys, i tried the search function first but couldn't find anything particularly helpful..
I was wondering if anyone knows of any garages in or around Dundee who specialise in servicing/looking after porsches? I know of a place in Aberdeen but was looking for somewhere closer to dundee area..
Any info would be welcomed.
Cheers

Don't bother with the indy in Aberdeen. Just had a very poor experience with them and a 996 C4. I was wondering if anyone knows of any garages in or around Dundee who specialise in servicing/looking after porsches? I know of a place in Aberdeen but was looking for somewhere closer to dundee area..

Sadly the OPC isn't much better.
Boyner,
In order to avoid the name and shame rules i won't be naming the company but they are the only garage i'm aware of who advertise in Aberdeen as independent Porsche specialists. Having failed to diagnose the issue I gave them the car for, despite me telling them that the issue was coilpacks (eventually sorted at the OPC), they decided to replace a lambda sensor without cause. Then upon collection the car, unsurprisingly, was still misfiring (original issue) and i got to the end of their carpark before stopping the car and going back in to see the service manager. He claimed that the car had been on a test drive and was fine during it. He then asked one of his mechanics to take it out again. We then both witnessed the muppet thrash the car to the limiter up the street (30mph zone in town centre) before coming back accepting that it was still misfiring! I was absolutely livid after this was after them having had the car for 3 days without working on it despite accepting the job and telling me it would be back the same day!
So, if this is the same place you know and trust then I am glad to hear they have the ability to service some customers to a satisfactory degree. I, however, know of a few more ex-customers of theirs who have had the same appalling service from them albeit with other brands of German car and not neccessarily Porsche.

There is a top independant in Aberdeen (near Inverurie) His garage does not advertise and I've used him for 12 years on various Porsche's I've owned.
No one else will touch my cars as far as I am concerned, especially for older models and he is excellent with all top marques, Bentley, Rolls etc.
If anyone wants details, then PM and we can have a chat about it. He has the luxury of being able to choose his workload.
As for the garage above. Once with a 944 about 10 years ago and I say once! Pitstop has mixed reviews and there is AW Autotech. There is another mechanic up near Huntly way (last time I checked.)
Cheers
