Aberdeen easter egg run

Any bikers on here from around the Aberdeen area? The Aberdeen police and council have been nice enough to cancel the Egg run that goes around the childrens homes delivering easter eggs this year.

There will be an unnoficial run leaving from the beach boulivard at 12.30 on easter sunday, just drop off a couple of easter eggs at the MAG van and join in!

I'm not a biker, but read about it in the P&J this morning. Sounds like a pretty poor excuse from the police to me! Surely they could put a few police bikes on as an escort through the 36 junctions?? Maybe that is too simple.....
