Very nice in the flesh - the interior was fantastic!

The two Lotus staff weren't having much luck getting photos given the weather.....

I have to say that looks stunning. Will have to see when Murray get some in for a wee test drive.

Apparently there was one outside the Science centre last night getting its photo taken - and the launch is at Cameron House. So Scotland may be full of them that weekend....

That's what the guys told me - in three weeks time - he also gave some clues as to the Ride and Drive route!

Ah bks.

I was looking forward to seeing these in the metal.

Not sure i'll bother now, there's something screaming Ford Probe/Cougar at me and i really don't like it.

Bugger.

Must say, I'm a bit underwhelmed too.

I think it's the flanks - with so many designs at the moment using the reverse "intake strake" going from the rear hip to the front wheel arch (Farboud/F599/Vette/One-77/GT-R), this looks a bit naked.

Doesn't quite have the bulk or muscle of something like a DB9 to carry off the simply bulging rear arch. Plus that crease under the door just looks awkward.

Yeh, a bit underwhelmed myself. Some nice "bits" but that kind of makes
it look too "kit-car-ish".

I was thinking along those lines too - there's something not right about the proportions, a bit ungainly - looks like a "peugeot 407 into elise" kit car or something like it.......unfortunately I think this will be a massive failure for lotus

I wasn't sure until I saw it, but it really does look good in the flesh, and the interior is amazing. Rear seats are a joke though. It will have it's work cut out against Cayman/ GTR etc, but Lotus people buy Lotuses, and you can bet on it being good to drive.
