No mayday from chopper, alarm raised by a standby vessel who saw it go down, they have sent there fast recovery boats to the scene, 16 people on board!

I've just been bombarded by emails from the other helicopter operators to say it isn't one of theirs.

So much for camaraderie rolleyes

Fingers crossed for those on board.

All 16 have been accounted for. Not sure on their current state tho. 3 of our boys were onboard. frown

BP have just announced that they cannot verify the number recovered....WTF, they said 20mins ago 16 recovered! Now it's 8 bodies recovered on the news.

Yep their all tatties, not a good day... i'm due to fly by Bond to the Miller on friday.
If my memory serves me right the wednesday flight is the kca drill crewchange flight, the last 3 trips i've done there have been working with the drill crew... frown
