Modest priced sprayer in/near Edinburgh?
Discussion
The old XJR is needing some light paintwork; tiny bubbles smaller than five pence piece on front wings and inside of arches starting to look orange.
Problem is despite living here 5 years I've not found a decent paint shop that doesn't ask for silly money or isn't run by complete aholes. Despite the car being 11 years old they seem to think a Jag needs a premium!
Can anybody help?

Steve Walker did a great job on my exige. Not in Edinburgh mind but worth the trip imho.

I think that might be a little far to travel for an estimate.
He also looks a little expensive from the website. I'm after a cash in hand job ideally.
It's only a tiny bit of work so I doubt it could be massively fudged up by even the most cack-handed of painters.
Thanks anyway though. I may have to resort to the journey if I can't find anyone local!

I have to say, IMHO, that with the above, a proper job will not be as trivial as you think, this is moisture under the paint which could only get there(given its an older car) from the inside of the wings, which means the wings are now rusting. You could get them blown over but the bubbles will be back in 6 months.Just my tuppence worth.

It very much looks just like surface rust from stonechips or the like. If it fails again I'll just buy new wings for £150 a set but I'm not paying more than a couple of hundred for someone to pull off a wing and touch it up.
