I had Ally from 360 complete round yesterday
Discussion
Ally Rennie from 360 Complete arrived at my house yesterday afternoon & spent around 5 hours on the car.

I’d contacted Ally a while back when I had my red WRX but instead of getting it detailed I ended up selling the Subaru & buying a Focus. I spotted his van parked up locally a couple of weeks back and contacted him through his Pistonheads profile to discuss what I’d like done to the Ford.
I’d just had some paintwork done at Stevie Walkers in Bathgate (mostly colour-coding bits & pieces, although the roof was painted due to a small dent) so I was looking for something a little more than a valet, but a little less than a full-on detail. The car was owned by a Ford employee for 9 months before I bought it in October and I hadn’t had a chance to give the car a really good clean/polish since then due to the weather. I knew there were a couple of small scratches – nothing major, just needed something a little more than a hand t-cut.
I’ve added a couple of ‘before’ pics below, but the car wasn’t really dirty before Ally touched it – just a bit dusty.
Ally started by rinsing the car to remove any loose dirt, then it was soaped using the foam gun & Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss. It was then rinsed, soaped again as per before, and hand-washed using a microfiber mitt (rinsing the mitt in clean water regularly). Soaped (again!) using the foam gun before being rinsed.
The wheels (which were only fitted to the car on Saturday) were cleaned using diluted Chemical Guys “Grime Reaper”. I had already given them a couple of coats of Poorboys Wheel Wax before they were fitted.
The lower half of the car was then clayed to remove any tar spots etc. Ally used AutoBalm clay with Chemical Guys Extreme Synthetic Detailer as a lubricant. I’d never clayed a car before, I was quite surprised at the amount of grime that came off onto the clay!
It was then soaped & rinsed again, and Aqua wax applied before towel drying.
The small scratches were then tackled using a rotary buffer. Ally used Chemical Guys “cut 1.5” and a yellow Lake Country small pad on the rotary. All minor scratches are now gone.
Next came a coat of Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze with Acrylic Shine, and a coat of Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 went on top of that.
Lastly the whole car was given a hand application of Dodo Juice Supernatural V2 wax which was left to haze before being removed by Ally’s fancy yellow dusters!
To say I was happy with the result is an understatement – my car is now scratch-free which was I wanted most from Ally’s work but it is also free from tar spots, it’s VERY shiny and it’s almost as if it’s a slightly different shade of blue – a more vibrant, glossy blue that looks really deep when the sun hits it.
Ok so it’s not the usual Porsche/Lambo/TVR prestige cars that Ally is used to doing but I am very pleased with Ally’s hard work and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get their car valeted or detailed.
