I dont think there was ever a verdict, but the chap's blog alluded to driving like a maniac, sometimes intoxicated.

I was talking to a mate about it and it suddenly twigged we'd come across the guy in Glasgow a while back when he was driving an E55/63 AMG Merc. Lets just say his attitude was a touch reckless that night too, although he was a decent enough guy to chat to (he was telling us about his M5 the same as my mates he'd owned a few years back).

Guy made the best of a terrible situation from what I understand. (his dad died and he inherited a load of property, leveraged it well over the last few years of madness in that market, reaped the rewards)

Much more than a hint.

I drove home that night about 2 hours prior to the incident and the conditions were very poor.
That section of the M8 is like a twilight zone. Micro-climate is always in effect in a bad way.
