Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I'm living in very north Scotland, a little village called Lybster ( south of Wick )

Not taking driving lessons yet, just purely as I don't have the money. First cars? I quite fancy a little modded Renault 5

I used to live between Inverness and Wick...Its great for driving and gaining experience...all those empty roads and placesto excercise your skills and learn driving.

Get a 205 GTI you won't regret it!!!

Not to far from Rumster Hillclimb then. If your into motorsport I'll give a mate of mine up there a shout and he will give you details of how you can get involved with Caithness Car Club even before you learn to drive.
