3 fatalities on Aberdeen roads today. Thoughts go out to families involved!

I actually recognise the car in the first pic - if it is a R32 Skyline from over taking antics on Tuesday. Car was heading East from Dunecht at the time.

I recognise that R32 too - the 944 is my commuting route.

looking at the pics. It look's to me that the corsa might have crossed from the center reservation into the path of the skyline (same as my crash). I could be wrong.

What ever happened its very sad and 2 people have lost there life's.

RIP

Think I may know the owner of the R32, guessing there aren't many like that around this area. Can't imagine what he's going through regardless of what happened or fault frown

RIP to the occupants of the Corsa.

Same here, usually in the Elrick petrol station.

You in Westhill Lefty or further out?

Between Insch and Huntly bud. I take the 944 to Whitehouse (near Alford) then up to Keig>Premnay and on from there. Cracking road if you don't already know it...

I live out beside Alford and have to agree, it's a cracking road!

Looking at the pic of the Banchory crash trying to work out the other car behind the Pug, any ideas? I think it's a Mitsubishi GTO, if so i hope it's nobody from here.

"Rumour" is it was the other way round.
Either way, dreadful news.

Looking at the pic's in the P&J you could be right, as its the pax side of the skyline thats badly damaged.

Let's not speculate though eh?

As has been said, one or more of the parties involved are known to members on here. Best wait for the facts.

Agree totally, just trying to get away from this blame the older drivers scenario, sad all round, but you do wonder how some drive around here, the kid caught doing over a ton in a 30 along the beach bulouvard the other day.

Sad for anyone to lose their life like this, and it's always going to draw comments about who was 'probably' at fault - I'm just amazed at the amount of amateur crash investigators who can tie up a case from looking at one photograph rolleyes

Not at all, in fact from the picture I myself can use my professional eye to see that the corsa appears to have been driven upside down which is dangerous at any time or road conditions, however the Nissan seems to have been one of them 'sooped-up' cars therefore was obviously being driven highly irresponsibly, and the nearside back wheel is buckled which means he must have hit a kerb, or a badger, or something....
