Hey, on my way to work in Coatbridge today I was confused by a convoy of cars that drove through. As I approached a roundabout all traffic had stopped around it, no sign of Police, when a line of 2 new Audis, a new Rolls Royce Drophead, and 5 (Five!) new Range Rovers came onto the roundabout and exited, with traffic resuming as normal after they left. All of them were black, with tinted windows. The Roller had a private plate too, BH# I think it was.

Anyone have any idea what it was...

Cheers, Dylan

Credit crunch and all that.

Has to spread his money around in case one of the banks collapses.

I saw that Rolls Royce Drophead (BH 1) last week going down the 737 toward Irvine from Glasgow. Don't see many of those around!

True that - the only other one I've seen was being driven by Sir Arnold Clark - his next franchise takeover perhaps? smile

2 questions about Sir Arnold's RR:

- do you think he bought it in the 'Real Sale', got a great 'must end today' rate of finance (we only quote flat rate sir, 12.9% is the going rate), and a superb trade-in valuation to boot?
- do you think as a method of advertising the high quality of staff he employs he'd let any of his own technicians loose on it?

wink

no offence intended to any AC employees, I'm sure there must be one or two good ones out there

I have seen a dark blue one on University Avenue in Glasgow, didn't see who the driver was though...

Why on earth would he need 2 new Audis and 5 new Range Rovers?
