Can anyone recommend a garage - Edinburgh or Borders

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a garage in the Borders or in Edinburgh. I live near Duns but would be willing to travel a bit if I find the right garage. Ideally somewhere that does not charge too much, provides friendly service (so many garages are just not interested) and a place that may know its way around older cars (mine is a 1988, Mercedes s-class W126)

I used Lochrin Autos on Lochrin place in Edinburgh for my old 1990 20v quattro turbo. Really like the place, the guys seem excellent and very friendly. No unnecessary work carried out, reasonable prices too. I still use them for my '04 Merc and no problems at all.

I use Serviceline in Newtown St.Boswells, and hear good things about Gattonside Garage.

I do remember trying Lochrin Autos when I was a student but thought they charged rather a lot for the service they offered.
