Well worth a visit even at a young age. Can't comment on the Planetarium as haven't been to that but the Imax is great too.

Try to get there early in the day as it often fills up with school trips by lunch time.

Food there is pricey and not great so don't aim to eat there or I think you can take a pack-up/picnic with you. Good gift shop too with science-y based presents.

I took my son last Easter Hols...he was five and a half, and he loved it. We spent the whole day there...10.30 till 5. Only stopping for some lunch (cafe is very good...wide range of grub, for both parents and kids). We then went to the piccys at the IMax....very good indeed biggrin

Well worth the money, not too busy, great parking, very clean....and best of all everything is hands on

Well compared to Dundee Cinema's, yeh it was great. Apart from the fact, my wee lad sat on my lap the whole film, as he was scared sh*teless of the monsters in the movie hehe

Science center is great fun! I took my gf there a while back and she fell out with me because I "practically ignored her the whole time" whilst playing with stuff and pressing buttons.

"Can we go yet.. aren't you finished here yet.. I'm bored.. blah blah" smile

Thanks again to all those for the info. Not long back after having to drag my son away after 5 and 1/2 hours ! A great day and would be even better on a nice summers day.

45min shows. I can just about pay attention for that long, thing I will go along and see what all the fuss is about tomorrow as it isn't far from my house.
